We need a better discription than it runs horible. Is it missing, bogging, breaking up, smoking? Did you change the spark plug....did it get better? How long since the air filter has been cleaned and reoiled?

We are going to change the pulg. We think that there might be a obstructrion, or something is wrong with the choke/throtle cable. Are cables usually a big problem. It was bogging down once you went about 1/4 of the throttle pull. And when you pulled it all the way it would backfire sometimes.

The cables should be fine. Pull the float bowl off the carb, and check for crud, then check the main jet for an obstruction. If you find lots of crud in the float bowl, then think about adding an in line fuel filter.

I took off the carb and I took off the top thing( the black thing inside the carb that goes up and down, I think its the throtle valve) and relubed and cleaned everything. Wasn't bad. So I will take out them float bowl and inspect it. My dad thinks that something is blocking the airway some how. IT is still bogging down when I pull the throtle more then 1/4 the way. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

That means the main jet is plugged. Youre gonna need to take off the float bowl, and remove the jets, and clean the crud out of there.

common problem on the wolvy due to a poorly located vent tube, with no check valve on the bottom of it. after you clean the jets relocate the vent tubes on the carb up by the airbox to prevent it from happening again.

I just had a problem with a BearTracker. Not running as bad as what you describe, but had a stumble off idle and trouble with the enrichener/choke.
Cleaning the carb did not help, but I went back in and the float level was way off. Hondabuster set me in the right direction.

(BTW thanks HB)
