Default 89 Warrior problem

Just replaced gaskets on top end of motor, put it back together and now it is blowing the carb off the top side when I try to start it. Creating a lot of back pressure! What did I do wrong?

Your compression ring on your piston. You have your compression rings that goes in one sot and (I think 5) oil rings that go in the lower slot on the piston before you put the jug back on....
