Default warrior engine swap

hello i was wondering if anyone out there has done a engine swap with the warrior engine. If u have a warrior u already know the engine weights about 4,000 pounds. I was thinking about putting a dirt bike engine in it , either a 25o or 45o .. tell me what u think . how much of a pain in the *** would this be ?

well i don't think it would be to hard if u can work a welder and a torch, but why not just save your self the trouble and sell it and get a banshee or 250r or somethin? then again a warrior with like a cr500 swap would be pretty unique and sleeper like>.>

In my opinion, you would not gain very much. That 4000 lb engine is very reliable, and if you did swap an engine, the stock suspension will not handle much more power and speed, so you would need to upgrade that, too. Before it's all done you will have more time and money invested than you care to think about and you will never be able to sell it.

I'm in the process of toss'n a 465, 2 stroke into my warrior right now.. The warrior frame can handle about 50 horse. More than that, and stuff will start blown apart on it.. A good friend of mine just finished putting a YZF600 in his warrior, and never did any structural reinforcing.. He had to notch the frame where the gas tank was, and made a tank that sits where the air box was.. He also had to get a custom rad made for it.. It's a badass little sleeper though, and anyone could do it.. One guy mentioned how cheap he got his warrior for. These quads are cheap, plentiful, and perfect for exotic motor swaps..
