ok so i took out my carb and put it back in and now my slider wont come down enough, something is wrong with my tors, i got a video of it and the cable is loose where it enters the tors, but on the tors there is a idle adjustment screw and it does not tighten or loosen it or anyhting : / any help apreciated, i tried about everything, and im sure there are no leaks e.c.t

but 1 question? what would happen if u ran a 2 stroke without any oil for a small amount of time like 5 sec

i used to have a banshee and i don't remember being able to turn that screw that much. . . . somethins messed up with your tors as for the oil thing 5 sec wont do anything crap to tell u the truth i accidentally ran my banshee for 20 min of drag racing on straight gas >.< still ran great for like 3 more years with no problems then i sold it and as far as i know its still a 99 and the motor still hasn't been touched sooooo i don't think 5 sec is gunna do anything.

Just make sure that the needle isn't holding it up or the notch on the side of the slide is lined up correctly.

The tors is only a kill switch in case of throttle stickage. Everyone that I know has them disconnected and taped off. You still need the block on top because that is the only idle control on those Mikunies. I would still bet that the slide isn't all the way in or the notch on the side of the slide isn't line up and letting it down. Now if you did other work to the motor like new gaskets or reeds it is possible that it is sucking air through a bad gasket. One way you can tell this is while it is running spray some chain lube around the area where the gasket is and if the motor changes rpms or sounds different then that is your problem. Let me know if this helps at all.
