Default (Warrior) Is it my clutch?

When the powerband kicks in on my warrior I get a sense that the motor is working harder than the bike is accelerating. The bike is accelerating fast but it just feels like not at the same rate as the motor. When I hold down the front brake and take off in 1st gear the motor is strong and just pushes the locked front wheels along the pavement with no clutch slippage. Am I just crazy or what?

I have always felt the same way about my Warrior but I could never tell if it was me or the bike because I never rode another one besides my quad but i def know the feeling.

Yeah, sounds like you need new clutch plates. If you do it yourself, plan on buying a clutch kit for around $90, a clutch cover gasket, 3 quarts of oil, and some gasket remover spray from an auto parts store.
