Grizzly exhaust heat problem
every after market exhaust pipe i have seen has been made of aluminum to better dissipate heat faster. so that would make the radiant heat greater.
in the hot rodding end of cars, it has been tested that using heat wrap all over the headers and collectors actually increases exhaust velocity therefore it clears out of the combustion chamber faster too. this might work for an atv, but then again i really do not know.
what problem are you having? is the pipe cooking your legs or feet? i know earlier this summer my big bear chaffed my right ankle from the heat that was coming off the cylinder from hard trail riding. but part of that was my fault for wearing shorts and ankle socks too.
i went out today wearing the Rocky boots and the Levi jeans and i had no problems feeling heat anywhere.
