It's an 08 and looks to be in pretty good shape. Going to look it over and quite possibly give a deposit. He is willing to let me take it for a spin. Any areas of it I should pay attention to?

Nothting over important excetp watch for your typical ware spots such as chain sprockets tires ect ect. Also watch for aftermarket exhaust as that is usualy a good indicator as to how hard the quad has been riden!

08's are pretty solid..I'm sure you know about all the usual stuff..But because 08 are EFI look for intake and exhaust mods..If so make sure he has a EFI controller hooked up to it..If not it would be running way hot..Go through the full power band and see if it backfires or after-fires..Take a look at the plug,it tells all..

Other than that..check the fenders and stuff for roll-overs,that is not a big deal..I roll mine once in a wile..But the steering stems really suck on the 08 Raptors, mine bent 2 times on rolls..Other than that look for care, how dirty the nooks are and the air-box/filter,but being a 08 I bet it hasent been abused that much

It looks pretty much stock.. this will be the last ATV I buy. Getting hitched soon and I want to get that one more toy before the wife manages my loot. I will look at it tonight. I will keep an eye out on those details. Maybe part with my 450R, it's a nice bike but .. big bores is where my heart is.

Hopefully you will enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. It has been the best bike I have ever owned!

Another indicator of a rollover are scratches on top of the thumb throttle cover.
