Ah, got it. This may sound strange but have you tried shooting air in the cylinder thru the plug hole? Sounds wierd but if it is flooded it will dry out the cylinder or displace any built up oil. Also has the benifit of cleaning out debris if stuck in a valve. Sounds like you've tried most things so might as well try the odd.

wow, ur spark jumping around is not a good thing, something is up with your electrical parts for sure, i have heard of ricks but i think that might be the prob, id try swapping it for another one, also set your sparkplug gap to where its barely not touching the electrode and see if it will want to fire. but most likely the stator or pickups are just wrong.

well the stator is oem yamaha both of them lol i bought 2 so far they ohm out good
the pick up coil 1 is a ricky 1 is the oem that was in the motor and the 3rd is a oem replacement all ohm out good
i was goofin around with it today and closed the gap up a little but maybee not enough the spark is coming from the side of the center electrode on the plug (new & old) now when i try to start it with the carb on or off and using either it doesnt start when i pull the plug out it isnt firing or erratic i blow off the plug with air and it sparks fine the spark may be bright blue but could it be weak unless the plug range is too hot and gap to wide ,.,..,.., just a thought
