The Blaster would be a down-grade. The 400EX would be an excellent trade, but I would be real careful with that one. Unless it is just ticking, it probably needs more than a valve adjustment. Don't get screwed. You have to ask yourself - why would that guy want to trade me a 400EX for a Polaris? Sounds fishy to me.

his wife is pregnant and she wants to ride, he said she cant master the clutch, they are of course in the same price range too. why would the blaster be a down grade? its faster.

I doubt the doctor would recommend a pregnant woman riding a quad?????????? That could be worse than smoking crack while pregnant!

The Blaster is a down-grade because they are cheap and their resale value sucks. Other than that they are great little quads.

well i wont look into selling it for a profit or anything man, and no he is waiting till she already had the baby to ride, but i like blasters, put the right stuff on em, and you are hanging with the big boys, i would actually RATHER have a blaster.

Put the right stuff on a 400ex and you are hanging with and beating the big boys, and have a much more reliable quad that holds it value well versus the Blaster.
