Default 88 warrior carb question.

I have pulled my carb off to put a bigger jet in it and decided to just throw a carb kit on it while i am at it. I am having trouble getting the floats off. any suggestions on how to get the pin out that holds them in? i don't want to break it off and get it stuck or something

they "pivot" on a pin.. the pin slides out.. just use a small screwdriver and with light taps hit it out
