It's only wasted money and time if its not done right.

When I was rebuilding my Warrior a few years ago now I had an exhaust stud break off in the head--and when I used an EZ-out to remove it that broke off as well. Long story short I ended up grinding the area out with a die grinder and had a guy I know that is a very good welder fill weld the area. I was then able to drill it and retap it and its held up just fine for all this time now. Everyone was saying just get a new head, but this method costed me about $20--plus I had headwork done that I would have lost.

Ask around and find someone who can weld aluminum and do it right and you won't have any problems out of it.
