you'll probably need atleast an arbor press

well i guess the first thing is getting the balljoint off the arm lol i still cant get it. i tired hitting it

just keep hitting it.. hit all of it, it should loosen the taper. a balljoint fork may work.. since you're replacing it anyway it doesn't matter if the boot gets messed up

i dont need a press lol. i did this just by hitting the a arm lol

if you look closely there is still a clip on the top side

o well that might be the problem....where at is it? is it a snap ring? ill go take a look see

nope, no clip, but i did manage to hammer it out! wow was that this shot....thats what i get for hitting trees lol.... as for putting it back in i sprayed the hub and the balljoint. put a 1 1/2 inch socket over top of the balljoint and tapped it in. for the bottom i tapped the a arm up then a bottle jack to keep pressure on the a arm so the ball joint didnt spin, and tightned the hell out of the nut so it seated real tight......
