Default clutch help 98 warrior

yes i just totally rebuilt my top end of my bike new pistons, timing chaim, and now i just put in the clutch and i tightened the spring bolts all the way down and torqued to specs and when i hooked up the cable the clutch was totally loose and the lever is acting like its not hitting any thing so i let the bolts out some and the clutch handle will be stiff but its not working when you pull it so is there any one who can help any info in appreciated thanks

did you put the ball back in?

yes i put the ball in i dont think i had my basket but back together right my clutch plates was loose and i fiddled around with it and got it to like sandwich down on the clutch plates of course i had done broke my basket before i found this out i bought a new one and it should be here today so i will try again and thanks for trying to help
