YFM 80N Timing Mark help
#1
Not sure what year 85? Badger Moto4.
Honed cylinder and installed new rings. Won't start wondering about timing. I can see a mark on the head for the cam gear but can't see one for the crank. No this one does not have a rubber cap in the cover. I had to take the cover of and I can see a mark on the flywheel but not on the case. It looks like there are 2 small notches in either side of one of the bolt holes just above the pickup coil but I'm not sure if these are it nor which one if it is these.
On the flywheel there is a T followed by a line and then what appears to be a H or just 2 lines close together. (ll)
Yes this thing ran fine before this rebuild except for low comp and burned a little oil.
Still have spark and have fuel.
