Default Warrior problem ..

So i installed a new intake manifold boot on my warrior and overnight it ripped ..anybody know why this happen...I feel like the carb sits up way to high but there's no other way to lower it since the air box hose has to be connected to the carb ...

yes it looks exactly like the old one ..the carb looks like it sits up way high so when I push it down to plug in the air hose I guess the pressure rips it but that's the only way to make it work

It is made at a slight angle, so it can be installed upside down, it has a little arrow that should point up, if mounted upside down, and the intake hose put on, it would put a lot of down force on it, and engine vibration could cause it to fail. take a close look and see if that is the case, I have replaced one of those on my Wolverine in all the years I have owned it, and I replaced it with a used one from eBay, years later, no problem. So double check the side of the rubber to see if you can spot the little arrow.
