94 YFB250 - engine dies 1-25% throtle
I have a 94 Timberwolf 2x4 that has just had the carburetor rebuilt to fix an idling issue. It wouldn't idle before but now idles all day. The problem is now that since I also had the choke cable replaced it is not stuck half open all the time and when you try to accelerate from idle the engine make a couple weird "click" type sounds and dies. If you romp on the throttle it works fine until you let off enough to have the rpm's lower to idle in which case it does the same weird sounds and dies before it gets a chance to level out to an idle. If you keep the choke half way on all the time it keeps the engine from ever having problems but it obviously wont idle low enough to stop. It has a new carburetor kit, battery and starter just to give brief history. My mechanic said he was leaning towards an electrical problem but said that was a guess.
If needed I could video the problem with sound so you can hear and see the problem better. Let me know if that is necessary.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Not sure the choke is the problem
Well I think that would be true but when the choke is half open the atv won't idle low enough to cause the problem. If u lower the idle screw way down to the point where the engine wants to idle normally the engine makes the clank sounds and dies. Also the mechanics said he tried every combination he could and the one it's on is the best but still couldn't fix the problem. Let me know what u think.
