Had our Kodiak 400 out using it for its utility function today doing some light farm work. It was working a bit hard due to 92 degree temps in direct sun, pulling a john Deere grass catcher around after grass cutting to pick up clippings. Not a heavy device but fair amount of staring stopping. Fan was coming on a lot. Then all of sudden it dies. No nothing. No turning over, just silence.
Assuming temp issue but dont recall seeing temp gage come on and no radiator fluid spewing.
No Gage lights at all either. Like its getting no power.
All fuses OK.
Hooked up some jumper cables to quad battery and touched other ends together and battery is throwing off sparks. Battery has a charge.
Tried jumping it off my truck as well (with truck engine off) - nothing.
Anything temperature related cause such electric issues suddenly?
VCan a battery have enough juice to spark jumper cables not enough to light gages or turn engine over?
Thanks

Check Motorcycle Parts, Motorcycle Accessories for a schematic to locate the fuses. Most should be under the seat.
