YZ 125 agianst my raptor

In short, twisty trails or tracks the 125 would definatly have the upper hand but if you incorporate some long stretched straits the Raptor definately takes the cake. My friend has a kx250 with a fatty and when we take off from a rolling start I pull ahead(he's spinning) until he gets in those higher gears then he's gone. On a 125 ----I dunno.

a bunch of us were out on a ride, two guys on kdx200's (2-strokes with fmf exhausts), me on my banshee (100%stock), 4 on warriors, and one 250 quadsport. we rode to this wide open field where they hold snowmobile drags in the wintertime. we all lined em up side by side. the field had to be at least 300ft or longer. the two kdxs and my banshee were dead even the whole way across the field, the others were way way behind. we lined em up again and again and the same results. so there is no doubt in my mind that a raptor will dust a 125 dirtbike.

Been there, done that. Raptor against 125= Raptor by a long shot. Even on a bad start. Dusted them 3-4 times. Raptor against a 250=Raptor by a tiny bit...and I mean tiny. Could have gone either way. Raptor won 2 out of 3, but like I said, could have gone either way. Raptor against a 426. Raptor for a length and then BYE BYE. 426 just goes and there is no reeling him in either!! Thems the facts.

With my piped Banshee I've raced a, CR125, CR250, and a YZ125. I blew away the CR125, it was like racing a stock warrior. The CR250 blew me away on the start, but on topend I was able to catch him. In all fairness though, he said that it was geared for a MX track not drag racing. The YZ125 was dead even until top end, and then I was able to pass him. Both 125's were stock, and the 250 had pretty much all the bolt ons. I've also raced a stock Raptor, and in my opinion, a stock YZ125 and a Raptor are dead even in a drag race.
