No way will the quad even beat a bike on a trake with sweeping turns unless you put someone on the bike who can ride, if one has bike controll you can go through sweeping turns pinned 3rd-4th gear on a 250 take for instance highpoints 1st turn 4th gear pinned on a 250 a quad doesnt stand a chance!

Know way a Raptor will beat a 250 dirt bike. they are either scared to give the bike some throttle or they don't know how to drive the bikes. I raced a banshee with a YZ 250 I was gone there was no contest we switched same thing several people tried to beat the YZ on that Banshee and no way. I know a CR 125 will beat a 250R 4 wheeler seen that done several time, it won't go faster on the top end but by the time the CR has topped out top speed doesn't matter. I would be very surprised to see a Raptor beat a 125. Maybe top speed but those bikes are damn quick. But no way a Raptor is taking a CR or a YZ type 250 dirt bike. I have not driven a Raptor but have considerable time piloting a Banshee and it did not compare to the YZ 250. I could wheelie by the Banshee while he was topped out.

The KDX is an Enduro dog,if you were"dead even" with a KDX a 125 would be a small dot on the horizon. Most of you don't know anything about bikes, any MXer will beat a Raptor, an 80 would probably beat a Raptor. I know its not cool, but its true, dirtbikes are much much faster than any ATV.Much more HP and alot less weight, plain and simple.

Hey guys,
I have raced a 400ex against my friends 98' KX125. IT was the longest and straightest road we have out here. Both bikes could reach top-end. Me and my friend on the 400ex are both very good riders. Now, we raced and i beat the 400ex by about 5 to 6 quad lengths. Both totally stock. I am looking for a YZ125 right now, so i do like dirt bikes and I really love banshee's and Raptor's, but a used dirt bike is cheaper. THat's all I have to say. lata men.

I do not know alot about dirbikes, But It seems to me that every time I have raced dirtbikes on fireroads or trails I win, I will soon have a chance to put my banshee against a 500 dirbike, Dunno what the outcome will be, But am hoping for the best HP is NOT how fast a machine can go, There are many more factors in it, Otherwise drag racing would simply be a matter of, "Well I got 400hp vs. your 398hp so I win!"..

AderalineFreak, all variables aside, its not hey i'm a good rider and my friend isn't, hes on a 125 and im on a Raptor, who would win? Its usually assumed all variables aside and its Macine VS Machine.Sorry guys, I know its not what every ATVer wants to hear, but DirtBikes are just plainly faster much faster than Quads, come on just use common sense.A KX 80 would hang with a Banshee in a straight line Drag race, I love ATVs and it sucks, but its true.

Oh my god. I usually don't respond to these posts but c'mon. A 80cc dirtbike dragging with a Banshee is not even comparable. I don't know if you posted this to start a flame or what, but you need to come back from fantasy land. Hello (taps on your head) anyone home? If your some kid that doesn't know any better than your logic is somewhat understandable. Read my lips, a KX80, or and other 80 will never and I repeat NEVER beat or come close to a Banshee in a straight line drag race.
