why doesn't the needle have bounce when i let go of the float they just drop in they have no bounce to em is that normal?

 

Check the lil pin inside of needle to see if the spring is stuck! take you finger nail an push the pin down to see it feels like it spring back up..dont do with float itself remove needle then try it..if no spring back then spring is stuck an needs replaced..IMO
