Have you checked craigslist in your area? I see a battery listed in Dallas, so they might just have the part you need in your area. If not, there's always ebay or the manufacturer.

Funny thing about the ones we had. Bought the first one for her and they had it at their house. Left if outside all the time. So when they split up, I made her ex buy another since the old one didn't work anymore. She outgrew it in a year, so I just put it in the back yard and let it rot. He asked about it and I told it sucks when you pay for something and no one takes care of it.

They aren't cheap.

Scooter, you're KILLIN me!! Something tells me I bought the wrong battery because there's nothing on it that would scream "special connector needed here". It just looks like a smaller version of a car battery to me. Which I'm sensing is not correct. Good thing is, I DID actually buy it on eBay and I can return it in 60 days if it doesn't work out.

Ok, so everyone is saying, basically, call the manufacturer (Yamaha?) to get the part number for a connector and the proper battery. Then I can find these things pretty much anywhere.... Our local Walmart doesnt carry the battery unfortunately.

The battery will have a plug similar to this one.

After multiple charges, my boy cut the wires and installed a lawn mower battery.
Last's much much longer.

I think you may be able to do the same with the battery you bought and the above mentioned crimp on ends.

That would be awesome!! But how would I go about connecting the ring connectors to the battery itself, because, seeing the pic above, that is NOT the battery I have for sure. I have a battery-battery on my hands. Not a kid one.
