Kodiak 450 4x4 Problem
#1
So, when I have the bike in gear and go to put it into 4x4, I'll hear the normal sound from the servo and the light on the dash will come on. But the 4x4 isn't pulling. Theres no kind of strange noises or grinding from the front dif like it's broke it just doesn't seem to be engaging. Could the servo not be engaging fully or something?
Any help with this would be great!
Thanks!

As well as the much talked of motor problems, the muff couplings also give trouble, put the handbrake on, jack the front up, start the engine, engage 4WD and check if you can spin the front wheels by hand, if you can (both wheels going the same way) and the prop shaft goes round, the muff coupling in the prop shaft has gone. When they fail they don't grind much, they just don't transmit power to the front end.

I'll check that soon and let yea know! Thank yea! I'll know more once i get this new piston in for it and get it back runnin. But i'll let yea know soon enough.
Thanks though!
P.S, Yea, the two countries have different ways of saying different things :P

You may not need to start it, (on Honda 450s you do) but if the motor whirs into 4WD and the light comes on with just the ignition switched on, you can check the prop shaft.
