I just grabbed 2 Yamaha warriors one runs great it's a 1993 the other one is a 2001 and is really clean but the weirdest thing is the machine only turns over when the run switch is on off so I took my other one off hooked it up and did the same thing currently has no spark I found about 3 wires cracked so I fixed them but still nothing can someone please help

 

Here's the wiring schematic. Simple answer is, it sounds like the wires are wrong.

 

I agree. Im not sure exactly what wires but some of the wires must be mixed or burnt
