Default Switch

I have a 2003 Kodiak 400. I was backing up, and eased off the choke too soon, and it died. Put it neutral, and the neutral light does not come on. Tried the headlights, and they do not come on either. The battery is new, and strong. It did this before, I loaded it up, and came home, The bumpy trailer ride, fixed it, but I don;t know what it fixed. Any ideas?

Loose wire or corroded terminal. The solenoid has the main fuse on it, and gets wet, so corrodes badly. I would start by checking it for corrosion round the fuse. Earth terminal on frame can look good but not be, so remove, clean and put back, if the solenoid is OK.

Sounds right. This 4 wheeler, while it has been garage kept, floated in Hurricane Ike, and again, in Hurricane Harvey. Still looks new, but...............

Thanks!
