Hello
So my first problem was it would not stay running with the choke off when it was hot or cold. It was a brand new yahama carb.
The second problem I had was I changed out the carb to an old one just to see whats going on and with that carb I was able to pull the idle screw all the way and it would keep running.
I am thinking on the first carb the pilot jet could be clogged but I m not confused because of the symptoms of the other carb.
I am open to any ideas!!!

Not had the problem myself but Yams are noted for air leaks in the inlet manifold. Examine it very closely for cracks.

Yep, those rubber intake boots are known for leaks! Just because the carb is new, does not mean it is adjusted properly or even have the right jets inside...

 

So the intake boot is starting to tear. I didn't look at the simple stuff first the gas was yellow and smelled like rubbing alcohol and than I cleaned the carb to be safe and wouldn't you know it fired right up with no choke needed. It was about 80 here today.
