My son inherited a 79cc Moto 4 from his older cousin last month. The carb was a mess. After cleaning and adjusting it ran better but the float would frequently stick and flood the engine. Finally stripped the mounting holes after removing it repeatedly so I ordered and installed a new carb today.
Good news iis that with the new carb it starts and idles great, and the float never stuck once. The bad news is that at WOT it's VERY sluggish. To me it acts like it's on getting enough air, but I haven't changed anything on the air intake. Any suggestions?
