Default YFM250 MOTO 4 carb drain line leaking

Hello everyone, I'm trying to find where exactly this gas hose that's coming from the bottom of the carb actually goes to. Thank you,
just dying to get this thing running !!

Welcome to the forums.

Looks like the carb drain line. Just needs to go down towards the ground. Might want to run it somewhere besides next to the exhaust. Not that it's got fuel in it, which if it did you really want to move it and check the drain screw, but it will still melt.

Thanks for your reply, yes it does have gas in it, well it did, Lol until it leaked out of the same drain line, stopped it by turning the reserve off. As far as the melting issue, it does have a holder that the line slips into that holds it in place, I only moved it to take a pic. I'm not understanding how it just stays freely towards the ground because that's why all of the gas leaked out. Thanks

Under the front of the carb, but academic anyway as you should not fiddle with it. That pipe lets fuel run to the ground if the float needle sticks, so your float needle is sticking, never lift it up to stop this as all that does is make fuel flow into cylinder or airbox and on into sump, diluting the oil. Turning fuel off is the correct thing to do. If a bit of grit has jammed the needle open, running engine until the float bowl is empty, then turning tap back on, may flush the grit out. If it doesn't, removing the float bowl and cleaning properly should fix it. Check the little plunger inside the needle is working, if it sticks, fit a new needle.
