Electrical problems. I replaced stater clutch and starter
#1
Replaced starter clutch and starter, reconnected battery, now theres no pwer to ignition, no lights or power to any functions on handle bars. There is power to starter solenoid and starter. When i test ground from battery to frame my test light come on. New to quads seems like there is a ground issue. Any advise

If there were two leads going to starter, are you sure you connected them the right way round, negative lead to starter mounting bolt, positive lead from solenoid to starter "live" post. Did you connect the battery the right way round? Pos to solenoid. Finally, on most Yams, the solenoid needs to have the thick wires connected correctly M post to starter motor B post to battery.

As you don't say what Yam and I'm not familiar enough with them anyway, I don't understand what you mean by "black solenoid starter wire that goes to the front solenoid under front cover" however my point about the solenoid with the fuse on it stands, the solenoid needs to have the thick wires connected correctly, M post to starter motor B post to battery. the solenoid has M and B written on it.
