O.K. when i am luggin around a little bit at low rpm's say in second gear and i go to nail the gas to try and lift the front end up or something or to pop a wheelie it hesitates real bad.I dont mash the gas i just kinda go to get on it a lil and it does it.If it is at a medium throttle it is alright but if im at lil to no throttle it will hesitate.Is it my fuel mixture perhaps?

Pull off the big plastic cover on the side of the carb. Look at the arm that actuates the accelerator pump. If it barely moves when you open up the throttle that's your trouble. I made a small cap to fit over the top of the pump shaft to lengthen it slightly and make the plastic arm touch the top of it. This pushes your accelerator pump farther and sooner which should cure the hesitation.

 

try cleaning your carb . you might have something in it. also make sure the reverse lever is fully disingaged. hope that helps

 

Get a K&N Dyno Jet kit.........it will give you alot better throttle response......helped alot on my Wolverine
