My ATV will not start, it just turns over. It was running a month ago. Gas is ethanol free and from this year. and gas is getting from tank to carb. Took spark plug out and checked for spark against exhaust. Sprayed starter fluid in air filter with no luck, then directly into spark plug hole. It acts like no spark but I confirmed spark. Any suggestions welcome.

 

Check compression and fit a new dry plug. However it is most likely to be a blocked jet, engines need to have an air fuel mix within reason of 14 to 1 so, even with starting fluid, if the ratio is well out, it won't start, Yams are prone to cracked inlet manifolds which weakens the mixture, particularly at cranking speeds, so check that when you take the carb off to clean the jets out.

 

Replacing the spark plug did the trick. Thanks for the help.
