BlackIce, a stock Banshee on a paved road should hit around 73 to 75 MPH; no more than that. With pipes mine will do 82.0 MPH. No kidding. Check my web site under photos then under Banshee Pics. I used a GPS to record the max speed. 660R1 recently did the same thing (after stealing my awesome idea )and hit over 83 on his modified Raptor.

 

Yeah I think that 50-53 is pretty accurate. My modded Blaster tops out at exactly 64 mph.

 

For all those who still non-believing about the 52-55 mph range of a stock blaster... goto www.blastercentral.com and go to Library and look under dirt wheels, there u will find an article from Dirt Wheels where they DID test the top speed and it eas 54 mph, 300EX - 53 mph, and Warrior 56-57 MPH.

 

Man, that Blaster Central should be called "Copyright Infringement Central". I didn't realize you could post all of those magazines, repair manuals and such on the 'net. Actually, I'm pretty sure that you can't.

But, I did find the part where it posted the top speeds. Interesting reading. Honda 300EX is SOOOOO slow.

 

Im pretty sure they have permission to use the articles, I know in the beginning they diddnt but I guess somebody fussed about it and now they get permission before posting, remember somebody talking about it... Its not a public web site, its suposta be private, that may be why they let them do/post those articles/whatever...
