ok... what i REALLY want when i get my 02 raptor is top-end. but i DO NOT want to loose my bottom-end (for poppin wheelies). what mods will i need (w/o spend lots of money) to give me more top-end BUT still have my low-end (i want to still pop wheelies in 1 & 2nd gear...3rd i can PROBABLY do w/o)

what type sprocket will give me more top-end?

what exhaust will give me more low-end when i install the sprocket w/o takin away my top-end but givin me the low-end i need to pop wheelies in 1,2,3 gear?

The mods I have listed below definately will give you what you mentioned, and they total less than $500. I feel that I have more low end power than stock and I know I have more top end because from my GPS readings that have been up to 83.2 (the pic below shows when I hit 82.7). I can easily still pull wheelies in 1st,2nd,3rd and sometimes 4th.

How about trying the Custom X series 2 muffler, I have one on my DS650, Awesome low end torque, and slightly more top end. Check out the positng on the subject on the Bombarier forum.

They are also made for Polaris 500's, Warriors and Raptors.

I got each of my mods from different places. The exhaust I got from my local dealer. The sprocket from rockymountainatv.com. The Dynojet kit I got directly from Dynojet. The ignition advance I got straight from Curtis Sparks Racing and the Airbox mod I did myself. I dont really know how difficult the mods were to put in because I had my dealer install them. However I will say that the exhaust is ALOT deeper and louder than stock. It is definately **** off the neighbors loud.

ok...i will be gettin my new sprockets (f/r) and chain from sidewinder (heard to many good things about them ) i will be gettin the 13t (for topend) and factory 40 (i think). i will invest in an exhaust. would the Big Gun or Pro circuit be good exhaust for what i am lookin for (more low end but gives me some topend) what did the spark advance thing do? any REAL power diff? how much was it? and how much was the dynojet kit? and did the dynojet kit give u any REAL power? i dont want the exhaust to be LOUD (pissin neighbors off loud) (i live out in the sticks but there are a few houses and i do ride the back roads....where some houses are located) Will the Big Gun or Pro Circuit be as loud as your pipe?

and 1 more thing...does your raptor have a fuel guage on it??

Thanks,
William

Its hard for me to say what each one of my mods did exactly because I didn't put them each on at separate times. The pipe and jet kit went in at the same time, the sparks key and the sprocket went in at once and the air box was after that. As for the exhausts, I dont really know how loud the other ones are, but I think they are all **** off the neighbors loud.
