how do i get this thing off

1996 Warrior. I want to take the air box lid off to gain some hp. How do I do this? I see the snout has a hose going into the engine

i think it may be a breather to the starter,it wont hurt anything i dont guess, I took the lid off my raptor and it has the same thing.
