Thank you all for replying in a helpful and quick manner. The only thing I'm worried about with the Graydon's is that they look very small. I saw a set of the Graydon's on a 400ex at Quadcentral II and they were awesome looking. What I really need to see is a set actually on a Raptor. What about the prices too, please. Thanks again everybody and keep the replys coming!

Raptor660RNH, I do not have a shifting problem due to the nerfs. I mounted mine low on the pegs. Maybe you could push them down a little and re-mount??

I bought a set of extreme. Thet say White Bros on them. They were only a 100 bucks at Rocky Mtn atv, but I got the last pair. No drilling, no U-bolts, fit and finish is top rate. They are aluminum also like AC's or Graydons.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out... We've got the AC nerfs with the GYT aluminum heelguards,, and it's a great combination. The AC nerfs installed easily, look great, are big,
no u-bolts, they attach to the front motor mount and the footpegs.
We bought them only about 2 months ago, so maybe they are improved over these other guys experiences. And they cost less than the Graydons, I think I paid about $139.

Fourlix, you read my mind. I am definitely going to go with the GYT-R aluminum foot rests. Where did you get your AC bars at? Thanks everyone

Yamaha has lots of cool stuff not on the website. Your dealer should have an accessories catalog with them, and once you buy the quad, they'll send you announcements in the mail when new stuff comes out. What everybody is calling a footrest Yamaha calls a "heel plate". They look WAY better than stock, but Yamaha MSRP's them at $129.99.
