clutch for a brake

my brakes went out about six months ago amd when i need to use the brakes i just turn it off and ease the cluth out ,how bad will this hurt the clutch i know its not good for it.

You can hurt more than just the clutch by doing that. You're putting stress on the gears and bearings. Quit hurting your blaster! Shell out the $60 for a new set of brake pads. They are cheaper than replacing the clutch.
