Blasters!

Blaster11, I was refering to the quad, not the atc. although, if your gonna buy a trike, the honda is alot better. I had a tri-z. It was a good bike, but the honda smoked it. As for the zukes, dont waste you time. All I hear is everyone blowing the motors up. The honda is alot more reliable. Keep your eyes peeled. You can find some good deals on the honda "r". even if you have to replace plastic, look at the frame and such and it will tell you if it is in fairly good shape. plastic is pretty inexpensive and easy to replace. Like I said before, I think an "r" would be more suitable for your hieght. They are the ultimate mxer too. good luck.

hey guys, i am a 17 year old ATV nut, and i was wondering the same thing Blaster11 is asking, i am really getting interested in the blaster, i am 6 foot tall and weigh 225, i have been riding a 1986 Honda 200SX all my life, since about 1990. I think it is getting a little small for me, my friend bought a 99 300EX aobut a year ago, and he loves the thing, it is a sweet quad, but i dont have the money for a new machine, i have not found any used 300EX for sale here, i was thinking i could go after a blaster, but you fellas are changing my mind. I know that Honda and yamaha, are about the most reliable quads on the market, i am a diehard Honda, but enjoy yamahas too. I have been looking for a 250X but those are just rare. and now i am thinking about a good used blaster. I live in northern Iowa, i just want a bike that will make me jump and have some good handling a suspension, i need some input, thanks, and if you know anybody that would like to buy a 200SX that is in great shape, tell me! Thanks!

RangerSX. I wouldn't recommend one for you. not only due to your height, but your weight too. You would have to put after market shocks on it to handle your size. A bigger machine would be more suitable for you too. Most quad suspensions are made to handle lighter people. Even the stock set up on a banshee is set up for an average of a 140 pound person. Your a big dude. The power would really be weak for you. A honda r or ex or even a banshee would probably be better for you. Dont get in a hurry and buy anything just to have one. Do your homework and see what is more suitable for ya.

Blaster11, you might have to possibly look out of state to find what you want, but they are out there. I found a tri-z, atc 250r and an 88 trx250r in the paper this morning. Atv's are popular here, so there are alot of them available. I have seen many of the trx machines around. they range anywhere from $3000 to $4500 here. some are pretty clean too. Hang in there. When opportunity knocks, you will be ready.

Dune scooter- it would be nice to get an R or banshee, but i dont have the money for one of those power machines, all i am looking for is a bike that will keep me up with a 300EX, i dont want something that will kill it, i am not a guy that wants to go 70 mph and not get anything out of it. Like i said i have been riding a 200SX, a small quad, it is 4 stroke and 5 speed automatic clutch, i am thinking that a Blaster would much of an improvement, it is 2 stroke and has 6 speeds so it has to be a little better than what i am riding now. I also think it would be much cheaper and plenty enough for me! thanks
