Get pics and videos. I love the one with you beating the 400ex. I am looking to put a clutch kit and pipe on my 500 Scram. Hope to be able to beat or keep up with the 400ex. I am thinking about HPD clutch .Still not sure about the pipe yet.

one of the guy I ride with has a scrambler 500 2x4 with a pipe and clutch
kit(HPD)and its a good race between him and a 400ex...but forget about raptors and banshee on a 500..unless you can run them over first

I guess it depends on were you ride..but at comp hill(sand hill)I have never seen a stock polaris beat a 400ex at hill shooting..mine needed a pipe to do it and it needed much more for the raptor....see my specs on what it took

chasman,Thanks. Like I said before it runs ok for a fat boy on a trail bike!
I really Like the Raptors Back when I got my 400 the only other quads out were banshees and 400ex's..Now I like banshees but they are way slow with someone my size on them...you know NO bottom end power most the banshees I have rode seem waaaaay slower then my 400 even the ones that beat me when little guys ride them!!and as for the 400ex ...its NO hill shooter
my wife beat a guy on a piped 400ex so bad a few trips back that he put nitrous on this last trip(tried to hide it)but after smelling the sunoco 111 octane fuel(due to the new 15.5:1 head)and seeing the diet the 400 went on cut floor boards ect..he just slipped away from the hill and was over heard crying about "JETTING UP THE NOS FOR THE NEXT TRIP" and my "$3000.00 of engine work" ...Yea I wish try about $900.00 of engine work
There used to be a video of me racing a 250r but I can only have so many vids up at one time...only 12MB of space on page...

Anyway me posting the vids of my 400 v raptor wasnt ment in anyway to downgrade the raptors. I was just happy my ol'polaris could stick with the 660R on the hill..my next toy will most likely be a 660R or a DS650
unless honda comes out with a new 650 quad! well..maybe a quadzilla LT500R..or maybe.................
