Im sorry but this rev limiter on the 02 raptor is way to much.You cant even give it any gas to get out of a rut or even back off the trailer.Anyone have detailed instructions on how to bypass this and still have the reverse light work.Any help would be great.

 

it cant be done to have the reverse light still work but here is the next best thing . trace the wire that is directly behind your shifter it is the wire that plugs in NOT the scewed in wire you need to splice into it somewere . I spliced it and used a small waterproof switch and mounted it on my handle bars . one side is the spliced wire one is to a good ground. then you can turn on and off the rev limmiter.off the light will still work. I just did one for my friend who got a new quad and we installed the switch under the seat so when he let's his kids ride it they have no idea it even can be turned off . this would be the best way to do it for safty resons. good luck and if you need more help e-mail me !!

 

Where is the rev limiter located??Maybe i can order one off a 2001 raptor.I dont think the 2001 raptor has a rev limiter in reverse does it?
