Why is it taking so long for Warn to get the winches and brckets for Yamaha ATV's? I've been waiting two weeks for them to come in and now they say a few more months.. What gives?

Are you ordering them from Warn or Yamaha? I believe Warn may have an agreement to sell only to Yamaha for a certain time period. Doesn't seem to take long ordering from the Yamaha dealer.

That is insane... they (my dealer) told me Warn doesn't have any in stock and it would be months before they would have any. I'm going to call some other dealers in town and see if they have them.. Maybe my dealer (Lyle Lovette Motorsports) will get them from the other dealer.. This sux...

I just talked to the service department and they said the moutning plate hasn't even been released to the dealers yet so no one should have them. Are the mounting plates different for each bike? I have two 2002 Big Bear 400 2x4

Just to keep everyone updated on how screwed up this is...

I called the service dept and they said the mounting plate hasn't even been released. SO I call up Warn and they said the mounting bracket hasn't changed "..it is the same as the 2000 big bear". SO I called the parts dept at my dealer and they said they have a few of them. So I told him to let me talk to a manager. He asked what the problem was and I told him his service dept and sales team says teh mounting bracket hasn't released yet and so they cannot mount the winch yet the parts dept has everything needed. He got my order and said if I can wait a day (I was picking them up today because I took them back because both bikes had exhausts pipes glowing red while running) that my winches will be put on.. Now is that screwed up or what?

Dealer is Lyle Lovett Motorsports in Southwest Houston, TX

Well they just called and both of my big bears are done with the winches installed. Bastards.. I'll never buy from them again. I'm going to try and get gun racks from them since they sat there and lied to me to my face...
