Bought my son a blaster about 3 weeks ago and he has already fouled 6 plugs. It will run fine for a couple of days then all of a sudden he will go out and crank it and it sounds like it is loading up.He will go through the gears trying to "blow" it out then bam it goes dead.I'll put a new plug in crank it up on first kick, ride for a day or two then it happens again. When I take the plug out it is extremely wet.Running NGK BR8ES plugs right now.
Anyone else had this problem?Any suggestions? Thanks for any help you might give.

As you prabably know it's running to rich.

The three areas to look at would be 1) oil injection, is it to rich. 2)to much jetting or dirty air filter. 3) pull your reede valve out see if thiers a crack.

Most poeple would want more info, like year and mods.
You do have a problem that is not going to correct it's self, and should not cost much, if any thing, to fix

Thanks gaff, it is a 01 bought brand new with no mods done to it. Should warranty cover this problem?

I would not worry about the reeds being bad just yet.
Is this your sons first two stroke? Is there any chance that he is not riding it hard enough? Lugging around in the first few gears will load it up for sure.
As mentioned above....It is most likely a jetting problem. If you are still under warrany, then be all means get it back to the shop if you feel there is a problem. What is your elevation? Does it seem to happen when it's cold or hot out? DO not mess with the oil injection..it is pre set at the factory and there will be nothing you can do to adjust it.

Does the bike smoke a lot once warmed up? The choke is all the way in while riding?

Just a few things to look for.

Yes it is his first two stroke, but it is not my first.I was kinda thinking of carberator adjustment myself. He can ride it for a day, put it up overnight, the next day crank it and it seems to be flooding itself out.Yes the choke is all the way in.Think I will carry it back to dealer and go ahead and get it straightened out. Thanks for the help.
