Mix ratio for blaster

I do understand your point. They have stood the test of time and prooved their reliability. I think my main reason is this: I really don't know the ratio the injector is injecting the oil at. I have heard that it is anywhere from 20:1 to 50:1. he way I look at it is this: My warrenty just ran out in December and if I mix my own oil at 32:1 I know it's running at 32:1. Maybe it's just me, for some reason I just don't want to trust the injector. Friends of mine have ran them for 5+ years now on their Blasters with no issues, and I have run premix for almost 3 in mine with no problems. I guess it's just a matter of opinion.

Thats same reason i want to premix my own too. Ive also heard stories of them going out and ruining the motor. I bought some 2-S Yamalube, do you think thats fine?

Yamalube can be run through the injector or as premix. Most oils can be run as a premix. The thing to watch is that you don't put an oil like Klotz in your injector. Oil's like this have thicker molecules and need a fuel to mix with. The mixing reduces the size of the oil molecules. Basically unmixed oil just don't fit!. lol When I can't get to my dealer to get Klotz I run yamalube.

Back when I had 2-strokes and my last Banshee I ran everthing at 32:1 with Yamalube (Yamalube don't smell bad either) and rode my Banshee over a year without any problems and without changing the plugs. One thing I always done was to mix fresh gas when I went riding, because if you leave premixed gas around for over a week the gas will evaporate and the oil will not causing the mix to ratio to change. I thought those oil injected machines had a adjustment screw to change the oil ratio.
