No, I didn't forget it, but that is a kit. Comparing it to these is about the same when you throw in proper jetting and an airfilter. We are only talking about a 2HP difference on a two stroke.

Those kits are such BS. These companies jimmy up their own dyno charts to sell their products. Just like these 80 hp 250r kits and 125 hp banshee kit.... thats the funniest one yet. Do people actually believe this kind of stuff. Vito's racing is the most rediculous one yet. Their adds are like use the stock exhaust and bolt up our reeds and pistons and you will get 60 hp out of your banshee as apposed to the 34 stock.... Yeah right... then why do 90% of all people buy 700 dollar toomey's only to get 50 hp... oh yeah cause toomey doesn't lie!!!! How can a piston with big holes cut into the skirts give you 20 more hp. Besides... a blaster is such an unsafe and unstable quad that a 40hp one would be a deathtrap. I can flip mine on the wheely bar in 3rd gear no problem stock. 40hp would tear the motor out of the cheaply made frame or flip the quad over in 6th. Besides its air cooled and runs real hot if you beat on it.... 40hp+air cooled+blaster=grenade with pin pulled out!!!!

Stock hp is def. about 17 no way is it 13.... Ive owned many quads and dirtbikes and I can tell that it has more power than that.
Faster than a 300ex hands down. Probably cause its lighter and not a honda!!!!

I think trinity makes them but they probably aren't as good as ftz racing.... go to ftzracing.com those guys know whats up with the lt. They do up lt's just like these other companies do trx250r's. I saw pics of an 87 they did with metalic silver plastics and a chrome motor... Looked just like my TRAns am

Yeah id ride a honda too if I didn't have to pay for the parts. Ride suzuki its a no brainer!!!!!

What I dont get is if it suposedly has 18 hp, and a warrior suposedly also has 18 hp wouldnt the ultra light blaster leave it like it waw chained to a tree? And with a pipe kit making 20 or 22hp it would be faster than a 400ex, yet I dont ever see either situation happening.

 

Blaster's aren't ultralight.... they are actually heavy considering how crappy they are... I mean they have a steal swingarm and they are so small that is the only reason they are considered light. I mean compared to a 85-86 quadracer which is 293 lbs. and the blaster is heavy at 324 and way underpowered. I don't know how much power 86 quadracers had but 87's had 31 stock. Warriors have more torque and I believe they have a faster top speed than a blaster, don't know for sure though never rode one never want to (I know they weigh about 400lbs.) 400ex's also have a lot more torque and are only 380lbs. and have, i believe, 25hp stock there is no way a blaster is going to beat it. Blaster's are also hard to shift under power.
Can a blaster beat a warrior does anyone know? I'm not gonna make something up about a blaster being faster cause i really don't know. To me a blaster is a very slow quad when stock or all the time for that matter... never rode a warrior my bro did and said they are terrible. I think the name is cool though!!!!!

I have a blaster with an FMF Fatty pipe, jetted of course, and a stock 400 ex - both my rides.

The stock 400ex just BARELY beats the blaster in a drag, that is switching riders too.

The 400ex is great for trails, whoops, and riding all day.

The blaster kicks butt for wheelies, playing around, blasting up dunes........

Both are fun for what they are.
