haha, good thinking, too bad nobody would ever do it. by the way, 21,000 registered, about 5,000 active(guessing) maybe you can put on a car wash fundaraiser. Wait, it's winter and your in Canada, nevermind. I don't know, you could think of some way to scam people out of there money probably.

 

Kind of gives you an idea about how powerfull all of us would be if we stuck together. Just think 5 dolars a month for a year from every person and use it for a common cause for all of us like a trail system, or save the dunes(forget the whales). Heck for that matter build more dunes, in the southeast.

 

Hey thunderpower what part of ontario are you from?? The whole donation thing would be great but it wouldnt work too much fighting over where the money would go towards..

 

wow this is actually a good idea. not to buy people quads but it could be used for so many other things. some1 said keeping the dunes open, thats a good one. i'd even be willing to pitch in 5 bucks.

 

OOH OOH, how about for a west coast race series, I would contribute to that, or to the dunes and trails idea. Maybe we should actually try doing this, I'm sure that alot of people would contribute if they knew about it.

 

Here is a good idea 5 dollars each month from all the poeple from the forums. Then go collect donations from poeple and such. Do that for a few years and then we could just buy the sand dunes.

 

Why not start an ATV club? I'd pitch in $10. This way we could possibly hire people to defend us or represent us against the tree huggers. Then whatever money left over (if there is any left over) could go toward advertising us at races. What do you guys think? Just remember there's power in numbers.

 

Ya these are all good ideas but they will only work for people in the same area if you have clubs. It wouldnt help me out there is next to nobody on here from around me. but it is a good idea to help keep the dunes open and clean. It would also be very hard to organize as well. Very good idea very hard to go thru with..

 

There are all ready places like this, the Blue Ribbon Coalition is one that I hear the most about. They try and fight crazy laws for us.
