New, unproven high performance quads to be released (Z400, one day Honda and Kawasaki, etc.) could easily have an array of problems as well.....should all '01 Raptor owners sell the Raptor only to buy another unproven quad? Does this make sense?

 

What is your serial #?

If it were mine, I'd ask for a meeting with the dealer's general manager and service manager.

If no help, I'd call the Yamaha 800 #, then fax them the details and receipts. Then I'd call 'em every couple of days to check on progress.

After that, I'd have my attorney write 'em a letter, cc: the dealer.

If still unresponsive, I'd tell the dealer I was gonna do a protest march in front of his dealership on a saturday 'till he and Yamaha see things more clearly, and then I'd do it.

I've used all of the above successfully with yamaha on other issues.
