Do you really think there is 14 hp to be gained by the CT kit?

Its hard to believe. I just bought a 2002 and am fixing to hop it up a little. If I can pipe and jet it and get that much power I will not need to build the motor!

you need to do a search on this subject. this has been addressed in detail in the past.

to answer your question...it is possible to get those gains or close to it, through piping+jetting and drasticaly modding the airbox.

Dirt wheels did a pipe shoot out...it would be in your best interest to get a hold of the article.

At really high or really low RPM's, there is a lot of horsepower to be made, but who spends all there time at 8500 or 2000 RPM. That's how companies make legitimate claims for these huge increases in power. But us, the consumers, don't get all we hoped for. It sucks, but what can you do?

I should have listened to my dad and left is stock, nah

Yeah, it is only the MEAT OF THE POWERBAND that the CT pipe beefs up... Look at the dyno charts. The CT Sonic pipe kit really works, I have one on my Raptor!!!

Raptor660RNH I have the Dirt wheels issue and I have already looked at the old posts thank you. I am looking for the people who ran out and bought a CT kit and have since formed an opinion. I dont believe everything I read or hear. Experience tells the tale. These forums are noithing but repetition but that gives others, newcomers a opportunity to have a say. You take a vote by the majority not the few that responded 1st months ago. I just got my 02 and want as many Raptor owners out there as possible to respond.
Thanks guys!

It is no better than any of the rest. Open up the airbox, rejet and ride. I have seen 2 totally stock run with piped ones. Pick the pipe you like the looks of best. If it makes 2 less hp, make up the defference with rider skill. The CT is to ugly to be installed on my raptor.
