Just curious being I just purchased two Big Bears. What do they top out at speed wise?

I'm not after a fast quad, it's just my wife asked me and I'm not sure.

Also, my brother told me I should buy brush guards for my quads and a skid plate. I can understand the skid plate but how important are brush guards for the A-arms?

I have an 02 Bigbear top speed maybe low 40's you cannot go by the speedometer on a 4 wheeler as the faster you go the higher your tires go throws off the speedo. At least thats what I have been told. Skid plate is a definate crack the case and you'll be kicking yourself for not paying the 100 buck for one. Can get right from dealer. Brush gaurds I'm guessing you mean stick stoppers are also good insurance.
