Corndog- for once you made a good point, BUT if yamaha but their 426 engine in a quad, it might hang w/ a Dale if they don't tune it down. Yes the "big 4" all have bikes that will spank the C-dale's bikes but thats because the Dales bike is TO HEAVY compared to its competitors. That motor is HEAVY, which is why the C-dales aren't all that light (compared to what a 400ex or a Z400 would weigh if it had an aluminum frame). Look at it this way... Tim Farr, Doug Gust, and all the other guys that fit motorcycle engines into their quad frames have LOTS of motor mods done to theirs while Kory Ellis and Jeremy Schell (who ride C-dales) have STOCK motors (not counting exhaust) and their quads had a few podium finishes in the Stadium Series races. If Farr had a stock YZF 426 in his quad, he would still be fast but you could bet that he would have a hard time keeping up like Ellis and Schell do.

As a owner of a Banshee, Raptor and Ds650 baja and rides with friends that own hondas i can tell you that you are nuts coming in the yamaha forum saying yamaha sucks.

All honda has is a made up reputation that doesnt serve them one bit.

In the order of a race and ive done this many times it is

Raptor vs. Banshee - Winner is banshee.

Raptor vs. DS650 - Winner is DS650

DS650 vs. Banshee - Winner is DS650

Raptor, DS, Banshee vs any honda - Winner is not a honda.

THis is the absolute truth. If anyone says otherwise prove it because this is the result of racing many many times.

Also i dont know what all the talk is about the Raptor being the best. IMO it is the most scaryest thing to ride. Power comes on to quick and front wheels like to lift. Also it gets very loose in corners like my 1986 camaro in rain.

In my opinion the raptor is a distant second compaired to the DS and banshee which are both proven winners.
