There are many aftermarket clutch kits. My 250x has a Barnett kit in it. $90 wasted. The clutch is not near as smooth as a factory honda, and it is harder to slip. My banshees have new yamaha discs. This is the way I would recommend. You should have 6 or 7 discs that run 4 or 5 dollars each. Check your local yamaha dealer. You also might check around to see if a heavier spring is offered for another bike that fits yours. My banshees have stock springs for a YZ490. They drop right in.
