There is no adjustment other than your cable adjustment.

Did you have this apart when you tore down your engine??

Do you have it together and now your clutch will not release??

yes, I had the motor torn down for a rebuild, and now its together, but the clutch had to come apart to get the crankcase apart. now I'm stuck on the spring loaded bolts on the clutch pads.

Well, you tighten your springs down to whatever torque the manual specifies. You tighten them all the way down.

As far as the order of plates, you start with a friction plate first against the clutch basket. Then a steel, then a fiber, then a steel,etc,etc........If it's done correctly, you should end up with a friction plate against the pressure plate.

Also, don't forget the "BB" ball on the clutch push rod when re-assembling your parts. Way too often, people lose this and forget it. Without it, your clutch will not completely dis-engage when you pull the lever and all the cable adjustment in the world isn't going to help.
