Anybody plated any aluminum on their quads? How did it turn out & does it hold up? Thanks.

 

I have a 88 and and 250R and have the swingarms,side cases, brake calipers,shock linkage and radiator shrouds,and a bunch of brackets chromed and they are all aluminum. I have no problems with it at all and it is alot less work than polishing and looks nice all the time.

Any reputable chroming shop should guarantee there work against cracking or peeling along as it is not from user abuse.
